Changes to Coinhako Points & Rewards (Effective 27 Oct, 2025)

What’s changing?

We’re switching from percentage-based discounts (%-off vouchers) to fixed dollar-value vouchers. This means your points now converted into a clear dollar amount for trading fee discounts.
  1. New conversion rate: 
    1. $1 discount = 7,000 points.
    2. S$1 discount = 5,500 points
  2. Earning unchanged: You still earn 1 point for every $5 traded.
  3. Where it applies: Discounts apply to trading fees at checkout (not crypto amount).
  4. Why this change: Fixed $ amounts are clearer and keep the program sustainable.

FAQ

Q: Will my existing %-off vouchers still work?
A: Yes, any % vouchers already issued remain valid until their stated expiry. From the effective date, new redemptions use $-value vouchers.
Q: Can I combine multiple $-value vouchers on one trade?
A: No. It’s one voucher per trade.
Q: Do points expire?
A: No. Your points remain valid until you redeem them.
Q: Is there a limit to how many vouchers I can redeem? Any per-user limit?
A: No per-user cap at launch. If we introduce a cap in future, we’ll announce it here first.
