FET Token Merger and ASI Token Evaluation

FET Token Merger and ASI Token Evaluation

Following successful votes within the Fetch.ai (FET), SingularityNET (AGIX), and Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) communities, the token merger of $FET, $AGIX, and $OCEAN into $ASI was approved, forming the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance.

As part of this merger, $FET will become $ASI, with a total supply of 2.63055 billion tokens.

How will Coinhako support the merger?

Coinhako is diligently monitoring this significant development and conducting a comprehensive internal assessment to determine the feasibility of supporting the new ASI token. Our approach to this merger will be as follows:

  1. Potential FET/ASI Conversion: Should our assessment conclude that supporting the ASI token is legally permissible, we will perform the necessary conversion from FET to ASI for our customers.

  2. FET Withdrawal: If our assessment determines that supporting the ASI token is not feasible due to regulatory constraints, we will take the necessary steps to halt FET trading. In this event, Coinhako will provide FET holders ample time to withdraw their FET tokens.

We await additional information on the merger and will provide further updates once we receive more concrete details.
