How Do I Connect My Wallet on Coinhako?

In line with Coinhako’s newly implementedTravel Rule measures, Coinhako Singapore users will have to verify their personal (non-custodial) wallets by proving ownership of their addresses.


In this article, you will learn how to connect your wallet to Coinhako to complete personal address verification using the signature method.



Connecting via MetaMask


1. After indicating that you wish to complete your address verification using the Signature Method, you will be presented with two options for verification.
2.Select MetaMask




3. You will receive a prompt asking you to pick which address you would like to verify. Do this by ticking the checkbox next to the address you wish to verify. To proceed to the next step, select “Next”.




  1. You will be prompted to sign a message to prove ownership of your MetaMask address.

  2. Select “Sign” after double-checking that its the correct address.




6. Done! You will now be able to withdraw (“Send) and deposit (“Receive”) crypto from your MetaMask address. 

Connecting your wallet with WalletConnect

  1. After indicating that you wish to complete your address verification using the Signature Method, you will be presented with two options for verification.

  2. Select “WalletConnect”





  1. Scan the QR code provided or upload it as an image to your wallet application to connect to Coinhako’s external verification site 

  2. On Coinhako’s external verification site, you will be prompted to connect your preferred wallet. Select “Connect” to proceed to the next step.





5. Sign the message to connect your wallet by selecting “Sign.”
