What is the Risk Awareness Assessment and Why It Matters

Starting 18 June 2025, all Coinhako retail customers will be required to complete a Risk Awareness Assessment (RAA) to ensure that they are sufficiently aware of the risks involved in the trading of Digital Payment Tokens (DPT). This is in line with the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s (MAS) Consumer Protection Guidelines to provide retail customers with an appropriate level of risk awareness regarding DPTs.

Whether you’re a new or existing user, here’s everything you need to know about the RAA — what it is, how it works, and what happens if you don’t pass on your first try.
