How Can I Send and Receive Crypto on Coinhako?
The process for sending and receiving on the Coinhako mobile application is the same for all cryptocurrencies.
Here is how you can send and receive cryptocurrency on-the-go!
Sending Cryptocurrencies
Add the Recipient address to the Address Book
1. Go to the “Profile” tab > select “Address Book
2. Click on “Create Address”

3. Enter the required details:
- Address Label
- Cryptocurrency Address
- Memo/Destination Tag (if applicable)
- Review and confirm the supported network to ensure compatibility
- Select the address ownership:
- Select “Myself” if the address belongs to you
- Select “Someone else” if the address belongs to another person or entity and specify the owner's name
- Specify the Wallet or Exchange name

4. Click “Save”, then enter the 2FA code from your authenticator app to confirm and complete the process.
Sending cryptocurrencies
1. Select the cryptocurrency you wish to send from your wallet > click 'Send'
2. On the following page:
- Select the recipient’s address from your Address Book
- If the address is not yet saved, click "Add New Address" to add and save it for future use
- Enter the amount you wish to send
- Review the withdrawal fee and the amount to be received by the recipient
- Click "Preview Transaction" to proceed to the confirmation screen


3. Confirm that all information on the pop-up is correct and click 'Proceed' when you're ready
4. On the following page:
- Check that your transaction details are correct
- Click 'Get the code' – an email with a verification code will be sent to you. Enter the verification code
- Enter your 2FA code (from your authenticator app)
- Click 'Confirm' once you're ready
**Don't forget to check the address and amount before selecting 'Send'.
5. Your send request will be processed and an email will be sent to you once it has been completed.
Receiving Cryptocurrencies
1. Select 'Receive' - found under the <Cryptocurrency> you want to receive.
2. You will be redirected to the following page where you can find:
- Your <Cryptocurrency> address
- QR code for your address
3. You can share address by:
- Letting the sender scan the QR code
- Copying the address and sharing it
- Sharing the address via the Coinhako app
